Dwight big gay ass tweaking

Not to mention, Chris Bosh was the third option on the Heat averaging about 19ppg which was more than both Boozer and Deng who were the second leading scorers on the Bulls that year. Hell, Wade averaged more points than Rose that season. Imagine LeBron being “robbed” when he has a teammate who’s averaging almost 26ppg (just over a point less than him).A lot of the D Rose MVP takes are revisionist history
Once the Bulls won 60 and swept the Heat, D Rose winning was a formality. He literally won in a landslide, there was not some big debate over MVP that year
Bron was never even a serious candidate bc he & Wade were considered 1A/1B that year , the Bulls owned them in the RS and that was the peak of Bron hate fresh off The Decision. And the Magic didn’t have enough wins for Dwight to have a serious chance, they were like the 8th best team in the league
You gotta take these dudes takes with a grain of salt. Rose checked every box...its pretty cut and dry. Of all years, thats the year he chose? And dude been holding that for 15 years to![]()

Bruh him and BHen the funniest people on earthAgreed...
Unless it's Jeff Teague. Dude funny as hell with his NBA stories..lol
None of this does anything to dispel the fact that Rose winning was largely narrative driven. He more than likely was not even a top 5 player in the league that year, he didn't put up eyepopping stats. He's lucky as hell analytics/advanced stats weren't as prevalent back then, otherwise he might not have even been in the conversation. The Bulls 60 wins and best record in the league had more to do with the fact that they were the top defensive team in the league than anything Rose did offensively.A lot of the D Rose MVP takes are revisionist history
