DVD Is still King after 25 yrs

i ain't even a movie person like that, but you can't expect one disc to replace another....like i legitimately know most folks see the "round disc that plays movies" as a DVD, the resolution change is not enough to differentiate it or cause one form to go obsolete. there was a true format change when we went from casette/vhs to cd/dvd...nikkas came out with the DVD+ on some "yea, we about to change the game again " shyt and got hit with the

Under normal circumstances I would never buy a DVD, but when you got 2 year-olds, kids movies are like gold. And you can find them shyts for dirt cheap on DVD sometimes.

I still buy blu rays and watch the occasional dvd (dogma isnt digital yet and Is damn near 80 bucks for a blu)

Im mostly streaming through Itunes/vudu but have a few collector set blu rays ill never get rid of.

I'm still of the school where I will watch something over if it's airing live or if I see it when scrolling through a streaming service menu and see a title that gives me that feeling.

The reason why I still buy movies and have started pirating music again. I've had entire albums disappear from Spotify without notice. Paying for the privilege to rent media. Need some of those Netflix shows bootlegged.

Yeah I tried to get some blu rays since I wanted to test out my external blu ray drive and they just sitting there.
