I didn't even know this was a thing until I saw Eminem do it, everybody I saw w/ a durag had waves, or braids.90s East Coast hip hop should be getting residuals for everytime somewhere wears a durag for purely aesthetic reasons and not for the utility of obtaining waves.
Not in the general population, I haven't seen a young non-dusty guy wear baggy jeans yet.lowkey baggy jeans are creeping back too
I don't think durags, fades, or vintage clothing ever went out of style.Everything comes around full circle. Stuff like durags, fades, vintage clothing, corn rows and FILA are back strong. As hard as it to believe, bell bottoms, 70s-style sideburns, and the jheri curl will probably all come back in style eventually as well.
I think in a few years, nikkas are going to be clowning this skinny jeans trend that's going on now.
And the dedication is worth it.shyt when I get these waves don't say shyt coli
Word who knew that brushing their head forever and wearing du rags would give waves? Lol shyts weird cause it takes dedication
Wavers never stopped, from 360waves.net/forums, to YT in the late-2000s.If you don't see shyt in actual real life
Or see it in real life enough that it looks like a trend
Then it is just social media lameness
Just like when they used to clown brehs wearing Timbs... "those are construction boots"
now they have become standard across all races thanks to hip hop fashion.
