That some one doesn't understand that Star Wars appealed to adults initially shows this movie director has no clue and neither does the studio.
It will bomb

The original made no sense to me...:heh: the only thing that kept my attention was the fat flying b*stard who was clearly the bad guy...:heh:

David lynch is a boring director and Dune is based on a novel. The movie wasn't as accurate as it could have been.

the changes made for film make the movie more accessible.
for an adult looking for something that matches star wars space ninjas with that seventies slash eighties feeling of importance in adult movies for the era.
my whole kinda rap career is loosely based off the books meets a urban real world take via hiphop.
plus it was my original first professional rap name shortened as moaddib or moad.

love the original Hebert books and love the movie.
it is a acquired taste I would say.
a collectors taste pallette interest and read.
if you not really into drawing imagination and shyt like that.
I would not recommend it to many.
I do not know anyone in the real world who knows shyt about dune.
to put it in proper perspective. It is more or less supremely the book worm sci fi nerd club badge of honor thing.
which is nuffin more than intergalactic drug dealers fighting space nazi's.
while also being a superhero drug lord mutant controlling god.
that eventually has to see to it.
that his legacy never results in being what genetically results in space nazi's...is how i would explain it.
