Loved the movie but the pacing in the 2H did feel rushed. To the point I could not completely comprehend what was going on w/ Paul's character or what exactly the timeline of events was supposed to be.
That 1st part felt like maybe it was a deliberate choice for ambiguity, but the pace distorting the timeline of events really took away how momentous I *think* Paul's rise and embrace of being Lisan Al Gaib was supposed to be. I hope there's a director's cut that clocks in at 3+ hours that fixes it a bit.
Not be a fan of denis before dune, brehsThe whole Giedi Prime sequence
Villeneuve finally made me into fan with these two Dune films
You gotta read them boring ass books to know thatDid the other Houses know that Muad'Dib was actually Paul Atreidis? Because I feel like that would have helped sway the houses to his side.
We don't know how much is known off planet during the events of the first book.Did the other Houses know that Muad'Dib was actually Paul Atreidis? Because I feel like that would have helped sway the houses to his side.
