If this ends up with Chino finally fighting Lucas at Luna Park I've been wanting that fight for years, those two fukkers would murder each other infront of a rabid crowd
I disagree, but this was funny
@ChocolateGiddyUp is right though. Adrien Broner is a bigger star than Thurman and Guerrero and is on their undercard Maidana has no fanbase or no one anticipating his ring return except Mook Danny at least has the appearance of PRs being behind him and supporting him....and his views vs Rod Salka show that
Swift moving up to 147 would be the headliner over Maidana, if they fought on the same card, because he's more important to Al Haymon's future in boxing over Maidana who's constantly mulling retirement.
I think they would be on seperate cards anyways though
Keep begging for the rematch fakkit
Who do you think is better?
Who does Argentina show more love to?
Love both of them but I had to choose I'd side with Lucas
Not sure who Argentina loves the most as both aren't that mainstream (therefore there's isn't a lot of discussion on that argentine's channels that we get here in Chile), unlike Sergio who is a legit star. My guess is that Chino would get more support due to the first Mayweather fight, that had a lot of people talking.
Figures Sergio would be a star that nikka looks like a pretty boy while Lucas/Maidana look like goons
Honestly though, goons tend to be VERY popular in here. If you have some charisma, you are pretty much bound to be beloved by the people. Neither Lucas nor Chino have much charisma though, both are pretty quiet. Sergio on the other hand carries himself like a star, he became famous before the Chavez Jr. fight after having a interview in one of the most popular shows in Argentina. People went for the dude and that was pretty much it, that fight had record ratings, then he fought in Liniers in front of 40k motherfukkers during a fukking storm and he was made. Now dude is doing stand up comedy and selling out every show he has (no joke, he's actually pretty funny).
Chino really showed his charisma in the floyd fights and against broner. shyt had me like
Yeah Chino has some personality/charisma in those bouts, but Lucas is just one of those strictly business cats.
at Sergio doing stand up comedy routines though.
Thing is, if you listen to a Chino interview he's bland as fukk. Even if he says something interesting, it comes out like forced BS.
Sergio's been doing stand up since before the Chavez Jr. fight though. But he's been 100% committed after Cotto whooped his ass and his knee said fukk you to him
