No mention of Matt Millen? Its bad enough that he has no credibility, but dude is a straight up ashole.

I'm sure whenever hes on tv, every single football fan has this face :beli: and thinking the same thing.

lions were 31-81 with him as gm -the 0-16 season, he should have been hiding somewhere not on tv analyzing.

Jay Williams.

Seems like a decent, likable dude (despite being a Dookie :ld:), but everything he says is so darn generic and cliche-heavy, and he usually has problems putting it into words on top of that. He understands the game, but he's just not a good analyst.

Chris Broussard is honestly the only analyst that everything he says goes in one ear, out the other.

really don't know what people have against Chris Broussard.
His job is, or should be, to report facts before the public knows.

He is an INSIDER, which means he should be looked at like the gawd Adam Schefter or a baseball guy like Ken Rosenthal/Buster Olney. He should have tips. He should be the one going on ESPN, writing columns, basically correctly predicting what's going to happen based on facts he has.

Do you not remember the LeBron spectacle? Dude should have kept his mouth shut instead of, "I'm hearing he's leaning toward NY" -- "Now I'm hearing the Bulls," "Actually, the Clippers are the frontrunner" and then he signs with the Heat :stopitslime: I could have done that reporting from my couch.

And I think between that and some other (smaller) mistakes, he's actually gotten too scared to actually do his job.

Let's go back to the Eric Gordon signing.. :snoop:

7:20 p.m. -- excerpt from Phoenix Suns press release
The Suns landed their prime free-agency target, shooting guard Eric Gordon, with a Tuesday night commitment.

Now, it becomes a matter of whether he is a moving target. Gordon, 23, agreed to sign a four-year, $58 million offer sheet on July 11, but New Orleans is expected to match the restricted free agent's maximum-level offer in its ensuing three-day window.

Gordon made the commitment on his second night in Phoenix, where unrestricted free agent Goran Dragic also visited Tuesday as the Suns rolled out the orange carpet, literally, for both to walk from First Street to the US Airways Center pavilion.

"After visiting the Suns, the impression the organization made on me was incredible," Gordon said in a statement through his agent, Rob Pelinka. "(Suns Managing Partner) Mr. (Robert) Sarver, (President of Basketball Operations) Lon Babby, (General Manager) Lance Blanks, the front-office staff and Coach (Alvin) Gentry run a first-class organization and I strongly feel they are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is now."

Okay, bad enough Broussard had no idea this was going on, he has the gall to treat the public like some idiots...

7:27 p.m. Broussard's Twitter
Eric Gordon and the Phoenix Suns agree to a Maximum Offer sheet worth $58 million over 4 years, sources said

"Sources said," word? You mean the TEAM ... not some super-inside "sources," don't front, Broussard.

Then, this kills me... he used quotes FROM THE PRESS RELEASE as HIS OWN QUOTES. Any journalist knows that only the bottom-of-the-barrel reporter would do a scum thing like this.

Broussard Twitter
Eric Gordon told me this: "I strongly feel (the Suns) are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is."

Press release
"I strongly feel that they are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is."

When you work for ESPN, you don't need to do this. Players and teams want the exposure. They will talk to you and treat you like an insider.

Folk really shytting on Mangini? :what:
I know, sometimes there is nothing a person can do to impress this board :shaq2:

Mangini is my favorite NFL analyst around. He makes me :what: at how he couldn't succeed as a coach.
