Notable exclusions from the poster are Max and Mickey Mouse.

Mickey isn't surprising considering he never had a Disney Afternoon show and he's usually off limits in these sorts of things. Still would be nice to see him given Donald and Goofy are going to reunite. Max is a major exclusion given he was created for Goof Troop and is one of the more popular characters from the Disney Afternoon.
Found out that "The Duck Knight Returns" is mocking Christopher Nolan and the Dark Knight Trilogy. Even had their version of Bane and Commissioner Gordon make appearances.
Makes sense considering Darkwing was always a send up of Batman and gritty superheroes from the late 80s.

Some of the new designs.

Molly and Kit have been aged up. Talespin is supposed to have taken place in the past compared to DuckTales and the others. So I'm guessing they grew up and took over the business. Kit looks exactly like Baloo. If these motherfukkers show us an old and weathered Baloo, I might shed a tear. I used to play with my toy SeaDuck all the time.

The Rescue Rangers look.....like the Rescue Rangers. No changes to them at all. :blessed: I wonder if it's still on sight between Donald and Chip & Dale.

Meanwhile, they went in a very different direction with the Wuzzles.:russ:

Goslyn looks exactly like I'd expect a moden Goslyn to look. Also, I have to say I really dig the Darkwing design. Perfect blend of modern superheroes and the original look.

Goofy is perfect. Still don't like seeing him without Max.

Also, these motherfukkers are going to do a parody of Quack Pack.:deadmanny:

Darkwing Duck is a real character in this? I thought it was a TV show.

Was a tv show...did an episode about a studio doing a movie version of the old tv show to bring it into the new century for new fans. The lead actor playing DW was a huge DW fan and wanted to be just like him. His name? Drake Mallard. Meanwhile, the guy who played DW in the tv show turned out to be a bit of a jerk. Good dude but doesn't always have the best intentions. He let his demons get the best of him, trapped Drake in a closet so he could be DW in the movie. Launchpad broke Drake out, they confronted the original DW actor on set, and that final battle became their respective origin stories.

Launchpad talked Drake into being a hero for real and being the real Darkwing, and the original actor became Negaduck
