Not to derail but …this isn’t exactly true
Back then they tend to use the same crew of like a dozen guys. From bay of pigs to jfk to Iran contra to watergate there is a ton of overlapAnd as far as higher ups… Bush I was CIA at the time jfk was hit and he was allegedly the Cubans’ handler ….Nixon used the same guys from jfk for watergate….Clinton was governor when the CIA had a airbase in Arkansas to run drugs for the contras.
Sidenote, the pilot they used was Barry Seal who trained with ….Lee Harvey Oswald. Barry Seal would also become Escibar’s pilot.
And to bring it full circle, Escobar was a contemporary of Griselda Blanco, and Rayful ended up getting 30 more years while in jail bc he was moving work from his cellmates, Griselda’s sons. Rabbit hole deep
