sting vs hogan was one of the ideas for starrcade 94
after flair beat vader for the title at starrcade 93, the original plan was for vader to get it back few months later at a ppv named "vader's revenge" but flair said
back in 00' paul e had a idea of having a reality tv show featuring his ecw guys. he was trying to pitch it to hbo but it just never got done.
93' was supposed to be brets superstar year. it was well planned out for him to beat warrior at rumble with the sharp shooter and make him tap in the middle of the ring. later on that year at summerslam, it was planned for bret to beat hogan as well. warrior fukked it up by leaving survior series 93 and hogan was just being hogan.
at what could've been for bret.
zeus was told by vince, he wanted to make him the first black heavyweight champion.
if hogan never worked out for wwf, vince backup plan was bringing in kerry von erich.
charles wright, papa shango/godfather, wtf you want to call him, was originally supposed to be kane.
billy corgan, dude from smashing pumpkins was igoing to invest in ecw.
paul e actually had contract written on napkins with some of the talent
vince was so high on boogieman that, he had simon dead (nova) do boogie duty. boogie(in his 40's) wasn't capable of reading or driving, and wasn't reliable to get on a plane and get to the next city. nova had to babysit him for months

I know its supposed to be straight facts, some might be a reach, but you can say that about a bunch of shyt in wrestling, I got a bunch:

-Kensuke Sasaki killed a NJPW dojo young boy to death after not impressing Riki Choshu.

-Vince McMahon did Rip Rodgers dirty, who was a top star and booker in Portland. Vince promised big things for Rodgers, so Rodgers gave up booking and career in Portland, moved his family to the northeast. Rodgers only did one match as a masked man as "Super Ninja" on Saturday Night Main Event against the Warrior. Rodgers got squashed, and was cut by Vince. Rip lost his job and the Portland scene died at the same time due to Vince's expansion.
-In Japan, a faction called Voodoo Murderers, the leader TARU beat the crap out of Nobukazu Hirai, who was also part of the group. Taru was mad at Hirai's lack of work rate and not selling All-Japan tickets, and proceeded to beat the crap out of Hirai backstage, while the rest of the stable watched on. After the beating, Hirai went to wrestle his match against Kenzo Suzuki, and Hirai got a stroke and went unconscious after the match. Hirai went into a coma and needed a ventilator to survive. The Faction got disbanded, The Great Muta stepped down from AJPW. Nobody got arrested, its believed higher ups in Japan covered up the incident. Hirai is still rehabbing, and for Taru? Hirai & Taru have squashed their beef and continue to talk to each other.
-When Lou Albano was a wrestler in the 1950's, he was in a tag team called "The Sicilians" in the midwest. They got so over, the Italian Mob, even Tony Accardo, head of Chicago mob told them to tone down the mafia gimmick (Yes the mafia told them to tone it down like a booker would) because it was bringing too much attention to him. Later, The Sicilians left the Midwest and went to the East Coast.
-When PacMan Jones & his crew shot up that club in 2007, it hit three people, and paralyzed Tom Urbanski who was a wrestler, who wrestled JYD, Slaughter, George Steele, etc. in WWF, who was the manager of the strip club.
-Tully Blanchard & Manny Fernandez were at a club one time, Manny went to hit on a stripper, and once he went to the bathroom, Tully went to put moves on the girl after. Problem was the girl was with a cat from a biker gang and Tully backed down when confronted. But, Manny saw Tully in trouble and confronted the biker and fought, which led to other members of the gang jumping in and Manny getting stabbed up badly that a waitress saved Manny's life. Tully watched the whole thing and didn't jump in, and led to Tully & Manny having beef since.
-Mae Young was really bout that life. In the late 1940's, Young and other female wrestlers attacked a gambler they invited to their hotel and while in a car, kicked him out, and robbed him of $1500. Young and her friends were arrested, but were found not guilty. A couple months before the incident, Young was arrested for beating and robbing a man for $100.
-Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas hated each other, even though they were tag champs, as they both tried one upping each other in the ring. Atlas sucker punched Rocky one time backstage and it got broken up and they dropped the belts immediately after.

-Raven came up with a 7 deadly sins storyline that would span months involving all 7 sins. He would punish and beat up a bunch of wrestlers for committing a sin, leading to a main feud with Matt Hardy & Lita. It would lead to Lita turning on Matt and getting with Raven. Stephanie liked the storyline, but Vince rejected it and it was thrown to the bushes.
-Teddy Long took Randy Savage & dikk Slater to a drug dealer in ATL for weed and cocaine. Instead of buying, Savage put the drug dealer in a chokehold, made him pass out, and stole all the drugs.
-Rumors were going around in 1999 that the Higher Power was going to be Mike Tyson. (Originally The Jackyl/Don Callis was supposedly going to be teased to be the guy, but got fired during the angle. Also, Jake Roberts was rumored to be the Higher Power as well.
-Gino Hernandez was strongly considered being a member of the 4 Horsemen, but it got nixed. After the Horsemen started a month in, Gino died of a cocaine overdose.
-Test was supposed to turn heel on Stephanie at their wedding and join Triple H & DX in 1999.
-During the Billy & Chuck wedding, Road Dogg was supposed to come out and reveal that Billy Gunn wasn't gay at all, but Road Dogg had a bad falling out with the WWE and turned down the offer. The Godfather replaced Road Dogg in the role during the wedding.
-Christopher Daniels was going to do a cult leader gimmick in WCW called "Syndrome", and his protégé was to be Vampiro, but WCW was in shambles and Daniels decided to work the indies instead.
-Jeff Jarrett was supposed to have an entourage for his country gimmick in the WWF, as his vignettes had The Roadie, Jacqueline, and Ronald Gossett. Only The Roadie made the cut.
-Dan Spivey/Waylon Mercy was supposed to be Kane originally.
-Simon Dean was a rib on Dean Malenko whose real name is Dean Simon.
-When The Basham's broke up, Danny Basham began doing his "Damaja" gimmick, a dark gothic gimmick. He worked house shows and vignettes, but was released after.
-The Booker T letter stalker storyline was supposed to be Goldust.
-New Jack was supposed to be the man who stabbed John Cena at the club for Carlito, but WWE got shook of New Jack who had a bad rep.

I was a little kid watching ECW and thought Spike Dudley only wore tie dye because well...that was his look. But then I grew up and thought about how in ECW he was named Little Spike Dudley and the initials for that are LSD. Then I thought about the fact that his finisher name in ECW was "The Acid Drop."

They even fought with a scissor, after the brawl, Sid had 4 deep cuts and Arn 20 Little ones and together they went to the Hospital. After that, it was nearly the end of Sid's career - he got fired from WCW, instead a scheduled title win...
