I remember when Will Smiths "gettin jiggy wit it" was out. I wasn't a huge fan of will smith the rapper but I remember being a big fan of that song... Later I found out why. His verses were FIRE, and yea the legend Nas wrote that shyt.

MC Breeds "I gotta get mine" was hot on the street when it dropped. One reason is bcuz it featured Pac in his prime but breeds verse wasn't to be slept on either... Breeds verse was ghost-written by the west coast legend DOC

Kanye west's "can't tell me nothin" was a fire joint off his album. I already knew the lil secret about that one. That beat was sampled from jeezys "I got money" . It was cool as fukk to hear jeezys voice on kanyes hit

Any other lil known facts in the game?

Edit: I wasn't a huge fan of will smith the rapper post-TV sitcom...before fresh prince of bel air back in his "parents just don't understand" days he was dope as fukk
DOC wrote most of Breeds stuff
Could've been a huge deal if it wasn't for ichaban

the album cover for Relapse 2 had a paper with Eminem's face on it with a knife going thru it and said ACCESS DENIED

Detox album cover had a giant beats logo in reverse and said Detox by Dr. Dre

Seen this on Twitter back in 2011 , I might have the relapse 2 cover somewhere in my old email

When Funk Flex got 36 Chambers Tragedy Khadafi was there, Flex wasn't feeling it, Trag told him he was buggin and this was some futuristic shyt.

Years later he took him War Report and Flex again wasn't too keen, Trag had to mention Flex not feeling Wu to try get him to play it, he played it...

Spade O from Major Figgas killed a friend of the Young Gunz from State Property after they fought at a basketball game back in 2002. This was during the height of the State Property/Major Figgas beef (State Property vs. D Block was going on at the same time). Freeway's second verse on "Hear The Song" is about it.

"I ain’t B.I.G. but scrap you dead wrong
Ya’ll could've scrapped it out
He was never known for shootin’ the toola, packin’ the chrome
He was known for shootin’ the hoops up
Little hustle nikka grind [grind]
To get his jeans and boots up
At the summer league game, D game rough
And the summer heat had ya’ll nikkas feelin’ like ya’ll so damn tough
Wrong words, couple of shoves, park full of hoes
Had his hands all in your mug
How could you roll with pride in your way
You drove with your .38 to the place where he stay
Said, “Say hi to the pearly gates and scrolls.”
Now I pop beers reminisce with your bro
You can’t make it to the show
And nikkas make it to the jail
Shed a tear"

[QUOTE="FreshAIG, post: 5237492, member: Biggie thought Cam was dope, so he got him signed to Lance Un Rivera's "Undees" label. Biggie had Cam ghostwrite "Crush on You" both Lil Kim and Lil Ceases verses, and Cam ghostwrote on other songs on Hardcore and other Junior Mafia projects before he came out on Undees.[/QUOTE]

:russ:

@FreshAIG Did Kim write a single verse on that debut? Pathetic...You can hear the quality lower on later albums. God damn, Biggie AND CAM?
:mjlol::ohhh:
Also, heard Hov and Maino wrote shyt for her too on other projects. Some other nikka said J.U.N.I.O.R. Mafia ran trains on her and she fukked Max B's dad.

THAT was new to me, but doesn't surprise me at all.

This is the Coli's standard as the "Queen of Rap"? No autonomy, street cred got checked by most females and males who beefed with her, nobody in the East Coast who's respected made music with her in this decade, cut off all her ties with her first crew, someone said Biggie pulled a gun on her, constantly took other emcee's styles that wrote for her, invited RHQ (an ATL RAPPER) to recite a verse from Big's classic features only for them forget BOTH of their verses, etc. fukking morons, this is everything that caused the downfall of female emcees in general.

It was bad in the 80's, but nothing like the 90's and early 00's.

At least Lauryn wrote (well "allegedly" from what @Black Reign said in @stomachlines thread) her only GOAT album, and didn't have her caboose "reserved" everytime for every passenger that took a ride. Amazing how she still has these mentally blind stans, amidst all this well known fukkery around her.

probably a coincidence it was shelved. none of us know what her disagreements with puffy were..

i was just saying i find it very odd that no tracks off that shelved album have ever been leaked

:ohhh:

Bros (@Wild self too), now that I think about it, someone earlier in this thread said Foxy was supposed to be Big's protege and Kim for Hov, you know he had something to do with that deal. That means he didn't even want Kim originally, and used her as music business property off of Big's fame, this shyt just gets deeper I swear....
Puffy ruined countless careers and probably had her's blacklisted in the industry,:takedat: he does that everyone who doesn't get him "his way" on things.

Remember King Los's career? Or when Monch ghostwrote "The Future" and NEVER could get a major label signing with him?

Last I've heard of her doing future collaborations was with Nicki, and well we all know how that turned out.... Foxy's psychologically unstable and that's why she doesn't do songs to "reunite" with New York rappers. Then you have Remy still bitter about their past.

Do all New York females hate each other or avoid working together?:whoo:

Interestingly, Puffy was Nicki's 1st manager when she blew up in 2009-2010, she fired him the same year:wow:, I can only imagine why...

"I make them change their name to Diddy, retire the puff!" - Four Door Aventador :banderas::dead:

Diddy Explains Management Roles With Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj

Her past one was Waka's mom, Debra, but since then she's been doing business with Gee Robertson. I wonder what disputes went down the past 2 times.
