It's a beautiful movie. Tons of heart and
humanity.
I think that everyone can relate to someone in that movie on SOME level. Hell, most of us probably had aspects of all the characters (I know I did at that age)
Planes, Trains, & Automobiles is also noteworthy for me. You CAN'T tell me that you didn't feel some type of way during the last half-hour of that film. It's not possible. That was a beautiful friendship, completely earned, and that shot of them carrying the trunk together always leaves me....
Speaking on humanity and taste and such...I've never been able to appreciate Ferris Bueller in his catelogue. I understand how striking the fourth wall stuff was at the time, but it feels like his coldest film.
