Breakfast Club was truth that everyone, including nerds, were conceited bytches in High School. They used Clique's to hide their major personality faults.

It's sort of a rights of passage movie for white people in dorm rooms...

They absolutely LOVE this movie, and they LOVE to reminisce about watching it as a sophmore with all their friends on a late Friday night in their pajamas.

Never seen "Some Kind of Wonderful". I've only heard of it because I remember it being referenced in the movie "He's Just Not That Into You". I might have to go look it up on a torrent.

Not my favorite Hughes movie that would be Ferris but to me it's probably just outside of his top 3, with Pretty in Pink or 16 candles coming third after Ferris and Planes Trains and Automobiles. With that said tho, it's a quality flick most definitely. The themes and characters are relatable because even if you weren't the athlete , the brain, the criminal a basket case or a princess, you knew people like that and in high school, it's all about trying to fit people into groups because that makes them easier to understand. In a time of your life where you're still figuring out who you are and what you want, the pressure is on you to be this one thing or people assume you're this one thing and it turns out we're all too complex to fit into a box. Love the movie..and it's pretty funny.

There are 2-3 really good charactors in it, namely bender and the prinicipal...but yeah its forgettable compared to ferris bueller's day off.
