Yo, straight up, in second grade me and my friends would talk about Mortal Kombat every fukkin' day. If we went to the video story once every week, there was a time when I would rent this once every other week, it was that real to me y'all. In my eyes, MK1 is still the best videogame adaptation. It was extremely well cast, the actors take their roles JUST serious enough, good mixture of action/comedy/dram, most importantly, it's one of the few videogame movies that manages to capture the essence of the game.

:pacspit: @ Resident Evil and Tomb Raider movies.

Second one sucked unfortunately. I think that was the first time I had ever been let down by a sequel. Like, a movie I had been dying to see coming out and being wack....:to:

Yeah the 1st Mortal Kombat movie was f*cking great, I loved it as a kid. The soundtrack to that flick was the 1st album I ever bought.

I used to f*ck around with my kid brother in the living room putting the music on and practicing fighting moves and all that.
