It started it off with a bang...
Then I got thirty mintues of him and the chick that was in his apts he started hanging out with..
Then I feel asleep.
To be fair I was kinda of sleepy when I started it but I hope the action picks up. I plan on going back to to give it another shot soon

Opening scene and credits = Absolute fire
The rest of the movie = Mediocre to terrible. I like a lot of slow-paced movies (Leone Westerns for example), but there seemed to be a lot of needless slow camera shots. Like when Gosling walks up to the restaurant door with the mask on and that (annoying) Real Hero song starts playing. The whole scene takes two minutes, and its totally unnecessary. Or when...

after the Driver kills Albert Brooks, he gets in the car. There's this really slow pan-up from his feet to his face. It takes about a minute; after which he turns the keys and drives away. It's only 60 minutes, but that kinda shyt was everywhere.

The elevator scene was awesome and you didn't need dialogue to convey the situation. After stomping in the dude's skull he knew that she would never look at him the same way ever again.

It's one of those movies you'd only watch one time. I loved the soundtrack and cinematography tho.

I usually have a had time enjoying slow paced movies with little dialog, but I loved this. I've watched it twice and would watch it again too.
