It's def not THE worst city, but the south and west sides are worse than nearly every place in the US not in Detroit. Even the bad parts of Chicago do not look that bad. It's not all burned out and abandoned like Detroit.

Oakland be having like 90-100 murders a year...just doesn't stack up to Detroit or Chicago. St. Louis and Memphis are filled with gangs from Chicago. Vegas over Chicago? C'mon now. All these cities have hoods yes, but you're comparing them to Chicago or Detroit...they just don't have the #'s or crime. Chicago has 100k+ gangbangers in the city...

Some of the most notorious hoods in the US are/were in Chicago (Cabrini Green, Robert Taylor, Englewood, Wild 100s) but no one knows shyt about Vegas or St. Louis or Oakland.

I'd fukk around in Oakland before I fukk around in Flint that's for sure.

same with detroit

cities like Vegas murder rate have gone up
and cities like oakland never had a drop off in murders sinc ethe 90s and 80s, it stayed the same

Chicago's violence problems are rooted in the generational gangs, other than Englewood and North Lawndale, Chicago is a very attractive city, even the hoods especially since all the hi-rise projects are gone.

This hispanic hoods all look like middle-class neighborhoods, would never know murders take place there.

Roosevelt in K-Town looks like hell, but you're correct. The South Side doesn't look like most people imagine it to look like. Little Village looks like Lakeview or Irving Park to be honest.

one of my boys aunt lived in englewood and she said there was a point it was 10-20 shootings a week on her block one summer

the hood she lived in looked nice as fukk though, she moved further north to escape the violence.

Prolly from 47th to 79th. Then from like 100th thru Altgeld Gardens. But like you said, South Side isn't that nasty looking...Over East looks nice to me. The South Side east and west of Englewood doesn't look bad either.

oakland now has the highest homicide rate towards blacks in the country and they not perpetuated by gangs...it's bored broke nikkas shootin shyt up for no reason...so, no nikka...you not fukkin around in the town
