Do y’all realize that when you’re in the right, or feel as if you are at least, you don’t drag people (that you think are wrong) down with your responses? Stop trying to sound like these got it all figured out type of persons man. You don’t have to dress a certain way to be successful or feel like you doing something. It all stars within. You can put them clothes on but when they get stripped from you then what will you have? Who will you be?

Your correct family.

I just see my buls become sharper in this whites man world. The tuff talk is just tuff love.:mjcry:

Man I feel it works both ways. I love getting fresh! But I will say the key is your scent not your cloths. At the end of the day I dress how I feel. We shouldn’t tell the fam to “dress to avoid being judged”, we should just preach it out as “yo dress nice and it’ll help you see success”. The power of words goes a long way. I was walking and thinking about it earlier. The way you talk will scare someone much faster than what you wear. I come from the rough background but I learned myself, how to present myself. I can get a job in slides I can get one in slippers.

A girl at work last week told me I dress very DC. Just a clean brotha that knows how to dress. I like looking elevated and getting compliments.

I used to be more preppy but I don't rock shyt like Sperrys. Now I'm trying to wear more street wear for the weekend.

I really like how Idris Elba dresses but I have other influences now.

I call that shyt “the gap” or “Supermanning”

Clark Kent at work(sauced up business casual).. Man of Steel on the weekend (sauced up casual/trendy or sport coaty shyt)

If you can do both... people will stop you in publix to specifically tell you that you got it

Had a buddy who said when he taught this already man-hoeish frat pike kid to dress in trendy street fashion.. his p*ssy game shot up MORE.. Cuz he was “SuperManning” he still does both looks. And becuz hoes are surrounded by frat guys/clean looking guys all the time.. street trendy gets them wet

Damn bruh I like that term... :ohhh:

My business casual is usually on point. I remember in Dec I copped a nice shawl cardigan from suit supply and I got mad compliments on it. I also have this top coat I've had for years from Banana Republic and I've had more than one person ask me where did I get it from.

I'm starting to attempt streetwear. I'm usually not good with it but I'm trying.

I like clothes because you can manipulate image. I'm not a master at it but it DOES help.

I wore a suit for our holiday party and went out to go dancing. Literally had women stop and ask me why I was dressed up, had a girl introduce herself to me, etc. It was an OK suit too...I think the fit and the color scheme helped me out.

I bossed up in a tuxedo at a Military Ball too. Felt like a million bucks.

I'm watching a show now on Gianni Versace's killer and the dude always knew how to blend in and dress well to get what he wanted. Not saying follow what a sociopath does, but image does give you access to things and it doesn't take a lot of effort.

This is alright for everyday imo.

Can't tell, are those tracksuit pants or regular sweats?
