I think you aren't really seeing what Dreams can be overtime. It's been released and we know it's the successor to the LBP series. BUT... the tools within the game expand a lot further than game development/creation.
It looks to be morphing into a creative platform or application that people will produce a plethora of things with.

The fact you're saying this and not the rest of the world is why I'm having doubt it'll become anything. Earlier in this thread it was pointed out that i was in project spark. Spark did all that plus had kinect support for mo-caption and voice. I made movies on that bytch. Others had full fledged games, one nikka made dragon ball and it was cool. It didn't resonate with the masses tho, and i don't see a less capable but better looking version making a difference. History often repeats itself and well...
