Pistons have to get Grant or Cam Johnson. Either is perfect fit with current roster. Pistons can offer either 30 million a year. Overpay but necessary to bring bigtime FA

Ausar Grant Duran could be elite defensively

Love the Ausar pick and after hearing the Cam Johnson 4/84 mill Brooklyn rumors, I'm more comfortable slightly "overpaying" him to fill the space and shooting needs. 4/100 or 4/105. Giving Monty a player he's comfortable with and vice versa. His Injuries/ availibility are a thing though but thats also why the starting price expectation is low in itself.

In any signing that involves Jerami or Cam Johnson, i fully expect Detroit to work out something with the opposing team so Detroit can relieve a bit of cap and so the other team doesnt come away with nothing. So a sign and trade involving Bojan, Bagley etc.

Grant and Troy have a great relationship. He gave Grant a bag to put his youngboy more on the map and a real opportunity to showcase his skills and put him in a better situation when the team was going in another direction (you got Duren out of that trade as well)

Turns out it wasnt that much better :yeshrug:

If you're wondering why any fan wants him back due to performance, i had to understand that casey gave jerami the role he was tasked with and that he wouldn’t have the same role here today.

Hes a great option if his time in portland is done but i admit the 150m price tag is crazy.
