i dont think it's too late. nikka is still on the team. he needs to take his angry ass to counseling
Oh, I'm definitely not arguing against Draymond needing to check himself, but at this point of his career/life, he is who he is, and at this point of the Warriors' run, their story is pretty much all but written. This is why I don't quite get the discourse around this. If we were speaking about a team in retrospect, we'd highlight something like this as an event of overcoming adversity, and not acting like the sky is falling.

I just think it's far too late to be speaking about him as if it's something that is holding the Warriors back from building a legacy. He would've been gone a long damn time ago if they didn't have the success they've had, but because they have and because he's been an integral part of that, he's still there in the exact same capacity.

Whatever foul taste you believe he has put in the drink with his antics can be easily chased down with winning.

I can't believe I'm posting this. I'm ashamed of myself.

Draymond if a habitual line stepper and the Warriors have benefitted from his line stepping many times

Them acting all aghast now is quite amusing to me.

Was he wrong in this instance? based on what we know(which is less than what we think) I will say yes

But they will move on.....teammates dont have to like each other to function as a unit

The real elephant FOR ME is this idea that the Warriors are going to use this to walk away from Draymond or use it as a contract negotiation leverage.....Both Draymond and Rich Paul will have other ideas about that

why do some of yal think guys are getting slumped on a regular basis at practice :russ: dust ups are one thing, dray lined this dude up explicitly to knock him out

he fukked up everyone's money with this one. of course poole didn't expect that shyt. what kind of fukking idiot hits their own pockets in a contract year, someone else's in a contract year, and the team's as defending champs?

dray dumb as shyt. new media can't reel in the ego

nba players from other teams rarely throw punches against players they barely know. they push or grab, its almost an unwritten rule lmao no way in hell should he be expecting a punch from someone he plays with

what draymond did was personal. i know how it looks when you're lookin for any reason to knock someone out.. ive been there before lol
draymond was lookin for a reason, somethin was buildin up..

same shyt built up with durant, and if klay didnt sit between em during their argument, dray probably woulda snuffed him too

Anyone questioning why someone would leak this to TMZ is an idiot

Rent in SF is expensive as fukk. Somebody making 20$ an hour saw a huge pay day and went for it. Can't blame them :yeshrug:
You would think the video would instantly be contained and controlled who saw it. If they really clueless who did it the franchise has terrible op sec.

People saying this is normal and happens all the time are god damn lying. A player just swinging KO status on a teammate in practice is not normal. Sound like draymond camp messaging. Even opposing teammates that go head to head know better then to swing full contact and connect

Common sense is Draymond salty Poole getting a huge contract and fan fave after Steph. While Draymond will be lucky to get offered a shyt contract. Green knows his days in the NBA are numbered. Who swings on someone 10 years younger and 50 pounds and a few inches lighter and their TEAMMATE?

What makes this even worse is that he ran straight to Chris Haynes and had him say that Poole basically had it coming, only to have everybody involved with the Dubs say to a man that Poole has been a total pro the entire camp.

To me, that makes this situation untenable. Draymond was very calculated in trying to throw Poole under the bus right after this happened.
