lol I got the name of the song wrong. Is there a Nas dis in What You Think of That? He referenced that song when dissing Bleek. Bleek had yet to dis him.
Drake was at Dreamville Fest but left 30 minutes before J. Cole went on stage to apologize to Kendrick Lamar.

I think Kendrick just wanted to finally get this battle poppin and did what rappers do. There’s JUUUUUUUSSSTTTT enough lyrical subliminals in FPS that Kendrick could take “offense” to if he wanted and set shyt off. Also remember, the one thing everyone says about Drake is that he’s notorious for dissing you on songs and only YOU will know he’s talking to you. There could be some shyt he said on For All The Dogs that was aimed directly at Kendrick we don’t know about.
What we DO know is that Kendrick was extremely well prepared for all of this. He’s also said there was a mole in Drake’s camp feeding him info and thats been proven to be at least partially true with some of the moves Kendrick made. Who knows how long Kendrick was being fed info or Drake shyt talking behind the scenes.

Thinking of how he painted Drake as this predator and his long standing dislike. Kendrick may have plans to set it off with Drake at some point and just saw this as the opportunity. Or maybe he got all his chess pieces in a row around that time. Like That was a bold fukkin' move and to see it all play out how he wanted is genius. Gotta give it up to Kendrick he masterminded this battle to perfection.
