Drake won 5 Grammys so why yall acting like what he said he’s somehow salty ?

I say the same thing. We all say the same thing, but real professional artists want Grammys. I think in 5-7 years it won’t mean as much, but the prestige is still there. When I watched last night, I understood that. The artists in the industry, especially the ones behind the scenes still dream of holding a Grammy.

Yet he still submitted his work for nominations……..Bet he’d brag about it or post pictures if he won though
In fairness he didn’t submit it, 21 Savage’s team submitted. His last two albums he’s refused to submit and when CLB was nominated against his will he had the nom publicly rescinded.
I’ll give him credit alongside the Weeknd for standing on business and doing what alot of artists SAY they’ll do but never actually do and thats boycott.
Its probably a bit easier for them as their Canadian and their equivalent of the Grammys, The Juno Awards, has awarded them both several times with top honors but still, they’re taking some sort of stand

Killer Mike about to get STUPID paid off touring and festival appearances. People don’t get that when they say “The Grammys don’t matter” they most certainly DO when it comes to an artist’s bottom line. Michael just shot up to Number 5 on Apple Music’s Hip Hop/Rap charts and Number 1 on itunes Rap/Hip Hop charts. Next week its Billboard placement will most likely skyrocket. There is MONEY to made off winning Grammys.

They got to stop lying man.. If the Grammys don’t mean anything why are the same people mad every year? Why are the same people saying they don’t matter every year? Tell that to Victoria Monet or SZA.. chicks that have been grinding for YEARS to get to this point. I rarely hear these people bring up names of more current artists who deserve a Grammy. Then the same mad people don’t even show up to any of these award shows that cater to black people. This shyt is old
And of course the man that can sell music No matter what he says on them records can say Grammys don’t matter. People are barely buying music now so a lot of that shyt gets lost or forgotten. Let the people that want you enjoy their Grammy enjoy their Grammy
