i was growing up when he blew, his audience was basically young (approx. his age) sistas. that was IT. his fanbase was EXTREMELY limited in terms of scope. nikkas wasn't listening to no bow wow and neither were older sistas. don't get me wrong, his first few albums still went platinum, i think his debut even went multi so he was still eating but like i said, LIMITED so a LIMITED fanbase = a LIMITED run

...soon as those young sistas grew up their tastes matured and they ain't checking for bow wow no more and nikkas never did, leaving bow holding his nuts without a market

Drake on the other hand.......:whew:

True. That could be it. My perspective was different back then. Being big with the teeny boppers was the only thing I cared about back then :ahh:

Thats the thing, kid pop artists become REALLY big BUT for a very short while. Remember when Justin Beiber blew
and i told my young siblings that he would fizzle quickly once his fans started growing and i was right (as an artist).

That pop life has a very short shelf life. Very big if it pops, but short.
