Side A is rendering damn near universal praise.(Thecoli doesn't count when it comes to Drake)
This album IMO is like the opposite of Views in a way. The rapping on Views was bad(Except for Weston Road flows) But the singing songs were his peak (Controlla, One Dance, Too Good)
On Scorpion the rapping is A1 the flows, the bars, everything is sharp but the singing songs are lackluster. The best songs on B side are the ones he's rapping on(Jaded is dope af )
One thing I've learned about The Booth in my short time here is that it's full of nikkas that shyt on individuals that make them feel uncomfortable in their skin.
nikkas that remind them of the nikkas from their own towns that have all the money, girls, popularity, etc.
They hate nikkas like Baby, Dame, J. Prince, Drake and Jay.
nikkas that was popping before their rap careers, who don't hesitate to tell you how much more intelligent, gangsta, and charismatic they are than you, while always being their real selves.
They identify more with nikkas like Nas and Push because they represent the quiet, thoughtful, never got off the porch (unless they were with their older and/or more gangsta brother) nikkas, that wasn't shyt before rap, but was able to use their talent to make something of themselves in the super fake Hip Hop world, in spite of their real life, social shortcomings.
Those are the type of nikkas that make a lame nikka feel more comfortable being a regular, nobody type nikka.
