Here's the short review: When Kendrick or Cole make an album, I know its because they had some shyt to get off their chest because they're artist. When Drake makes an album, its because he had a quota to reach for the quarter. He's a manufacturer; he's Don Draper the rapper. He's not going to make "that album" because as he said, he could give us 10 "Emotionless" type joints and he'd have that classic. But that's not his aim (and that's a bullshyt line anyway). He makes great cotton candy music; great in the moment, no good calories, and dissolves the second it hits your tongue and then it's done and over with

I’ll keep it 100, I think the size of this album diluted it, truthfully 7 songs off side A and about 4 from B with the singles and 1 more being a bonuses would have done a lot for the album.

A lot of ok to good songs on the album and a handful of great ones

I agree with this assessment totally. Some songs he could have left off this project, and it would of elevated my opinion of it.
