Funny thing is this is how he was acting towards Kendrick circa 2014-2016. Complete dikk sucking Drake, dismissing Kendrick and leaning into the troll shyt. Yea while I troll drake super fans I dont really dislike him musically to any type of great extent. If he made some excellent music it would get listened to. Virginia beach was like my 9th most listened to song the year it came out. NWTS was a great album, if he came out with simething of that quality today people would be calling it Illmatic cuz he been releasing for so long
But the issue is nowadays them shyts is lost in a sea of uninspired garbage. He reminds me of Eminem where his base is gonna hype any lil thing he does. When objective listeners go “well he was doper back then, why would I hype of this new ahit” they call them haters

Facts, Virginia Beach was probably my favorite song off his last album. I'm a Drake fan but I don't just mindlessly gas something up if it's trash. It's like you said though nikkas just gonna gas it cause it's Drake. So when I finally gave this a listen I was shocked to hear that people were hyping this up because I been listening to dude for fukking 15 years at this point and I can tell when he's uninspired. Her Loss was the best Drake had sounded in years and I don't think he's dropped anything really good since then. There'll prob be a few songs on here I might go back to but since he's so concerned with streams now and not being as concise I'm cool on these bloated projects.
