The same could be said for you and the rest of the fans. How am I supposed to really know if you think this album is great or if its some shyt? You riding with Drake regardless.
That's an interesting point.

The views thread and this one have pretty much the same talking points

-you have to be social to enjoy it, despite stans having literally 25x post than anyone else
@WickedGames arguing Anyone with criticism
@4d 6f 6e 65 79 posting random tweets
Carl Minkovich aka @Ms. Elaine arguing with everyone
-needing to be worldly to appreciate it
-needing to listen 20x to allow the project to grow on you
-vague, indirect, reviews of the album without highlighting any actual details of the project
-stans saying ghostwriting doesn't matter (I don't think it does), and then at the same time saying anyone who points to drake using ghostwriters is a hater
- @SirBiatch trolling Drake haters, then flipping and trashing the album (:bryan:)

Hard to know what people really think of the project when everyone is pushing agendas.

Objectively speaking (I've trashed and praised his music), this is definitely his best project since Take Care In my opinion. But that's partially due to him not having any great projects since that. It's definitely a step in the right direction for him. Teenage Fever, Can't Have Everything, KMT, Sacrifices, are all cool records. And then there are some flat out terrible tracks. I personally can't give him credit for any of the bars, even if he did write them, because I can't for sure if he did or didn't. So at worst, I just can't give him credit. so I have to look him as a entertainer and not as an MC. This is a good project.

Solid 7/10 up from the 3/10 that views was.

Dope project.

V dope write up

On a good chunk of More Life, he sounds like the product of that intermingling: Toronto Drake is a character taken for granted by locals for years but was only introduced to the broader public during the rollout of IYRTITL. By that point in his career, Drake had successfully asserted himself as a powerhouse and was ready — and bulletproof enough — to try a ting. In that mode, he speaks and raps, like any one of my friends from home — when we’re not at work, or at school, or with our parents. His vowels are rounded and elongated, as if his tongue had become leaden. “Yo!” becomes “Yoooooooo, guy”; thoughts are punctuated by what feel like IRL ad-libs, like a high-pitched “jheeeze!” or a guttural “mm-hmmm!” When I feel especially homesick, I often watch a silly 2012 YouTube video, “shyt Toronto People Say,” that captures that distinct feeling; listening to Drake sometimes accomplishes the same thing.

In his Pitchfork review of More Life, the writer Jayson Greene pointed to Drake’s shifting between “ting” and “thing” on one song as proof that he must be a fraud. This, and similar claims, are misreadings that reveal more about listeners’ biases than they do about Drake.

Sounds like some of y'all.:sas2:

Sign me up for the Giggs hating bandwagon. Is there a version of this without him yet?

Do you think it's a UK thing? What's the difference between UK and US rappers in general?
American rappers are a lot more violent and explicit and people don't think of UK people being violent. The police there can't even use a gun, so by nature, people just think of them all as soft.
