This dude is a demon.
"nikkas moves so waste
Please come outside the house and show yourself
So I can say it to your face"
im not even mad when US brehs hate UK rappers tbh, you look at our accent the same way the UK looks at australian accent rappers....corny
More Life is
Maybe it's because I'm Nigerian and have grown up listening to west African and carribean music, but I can't listen to Drake try to immitate these styles.
He is just so fukking boring on these dancehall tracks.
nikka sings in monotone with no African or Jamaican features, shyt puts me to sleep.
Tell me why I should listen to this over WizKid?
This would be the equivalent of Gyptian put out a rap album with a fake American accent and shyt bars
This dude is a demon.
Have haters (who have no real genuine interest in discussing the music) left this thread and left to fans of music to discuss yet?
Who do you guys think "tell your big homie I'm all for going there again" is about ?
If you like this album, you must not listen to the actual music Drake is trying to immitate.
shyt is the definition of struggle.
As I said in another thread...
Meek. Obviously.
Drake fans still in denial that they secretly stannin QMA good album after one listen - this nikka needs to stop doing slow jams though cause his voice ain't strong enough to carry the slow tempos. Was hoping for more bars like IYRTITL - I ain't even listen to Views cause that shyt sounds soppy as fukk. But respect the world influences on this.
how many countries have you even been to?It's an ignorance though that once your palette is more open you get over. I remember not musically but London dudes used to clown Birmingham accents. Now everyone loves MIST and the accent adds a nice twist
If there was a dope Australian rapper I'm sure I could vibe with it. I got into some Swedish and French shyt of recent
Same way afrobeats has grown on people's palettes in recent years. Back in the day there was no way my Jamaican friends were vibing with African music
how many countries have you even been to?
because he is using a constant 8th note to quarter note pattern.... and the upbeat has the high end.I don't know if this is a new thing, or I just never noticed before, but The only song I've had on repeat so far is PassionFruit, and it sounds like the engineer, engineered it in a way that you don't even realize you're repeating it... It's like the transition from the end to the beginning is seamless...So it just goes on and on smooth as fukk...
I just think that shyt is brilliant in this day and age...
Are you NigerianA decent amount experiences mainly in Africa, Europe and America.
Plus I'm from London one of the most culturally diverse places on earth.
