Nah. It's just amusing how some of you are so quick to defend all things Drake
No you thought I was being critical.
Thing is I plan on giving it a listen just likd everyone else and we'll see how it turns out.
But nah... Rappers gotta do everything short of selling they ass to separate themselves from the pack. Sure the music might be dope but still the older artist like Drake, Cole, Kendrick, and Wale gotta find ways to repackage themselves before the music gets stale.
If you're a fan of they're music then you wont care. You're bumpin' they're shyt anyway. But Lets say you bump into someone (like me) that thought Views and IYRTITL and WATTBA was wack, then this shyt with the trailers and snippets and calling it a playlist instead of a mixtape, EP, or LP is working.
I legit had no interest in this shyt but now I'm intrigued. If it's dope then its dope. If it's not then
shyt... I gave HNDRXX credit and I think Future trash as fukk.

They're low key stressed, I think. Highly possible that More Life is gonna be everything many expected Views to be. Instead of Views being the beginning of the end, it may have simply marked the beginning of stratospheric run.

The problem begins when you're just hating to be hating because you don't like the artist and you've already made up your mind before hearing a single song - which unfortunately represents the vast majority of those who post in The Booth.

In Drake's case you seem to not understand why tho.
Drake broke the cardinal rule in hip hop. For most its unforgivable. For people like me, I can get past it. But I look at it like the Lox. He a dope artist but I cant fix my mouth to put him in any top 5 or call him one of the greatest.
For me, he didn't help himself by dropping wack shyt after Meek called him out. shyt I thought Back To Back was cool but as a fan who has BIG, Nas, and Hov in my top 5, I can't help but have the thought of "maybe this nikka didn't write this shyt" in the back of my mind.
So yall gotta understand that him not writing his own shyt may not mean shyt to you but cats that consider themselves "purist" take that shyt to heart. And those same purist need to understand that some people just dont care about that kinda shyt.
Its easy for me becuz I dont have a side. Just as long as the shyt is fie, I'm good.
