I know it doesnt exist without black american culture but thats like saying nikkas from Memphis shouldnt rap because theyre not from New York. Or people from Brooklyn shouldnt rap because theyre not from the Bronx. Hip hop is just an art form and a way to express yourself like any other genres of music.

And yeah Giggs is wackkk imo, the only good rapper from the UK i know is Nines.

I've tried to listen to U.K. Rappers but they don't have a style, so to speak.

Also, it's important to note that while hip hop has always had a global influence, the main deciders of what's "hot" have exclusively been American.

I don't like drake, but this album with this sound can push the pendulum in the other direction . It used to be other regions in America pushing what gets airplay which ultimately decides what's hot. No it's strong possibility that other countries can have a stronger influence on what type of popular music gets played in the states. I don't count Jamaican music, because it's been familiar to our ears for a long time.
