And Drake is claiming it in his lawsuit. That's the closest to a confirmation

He's using some warped ass logic that not directly suing Kendrick still allows him to not be a complete bytch ass nikka. He knows this is some treason level fukkery culturally but suing UMG (at least in his eyes) provides cover. His handlers probably wanted to sue Kendrick but he probably talked them out of it. So now you've got a lawsuit that's suing Kendrick but not actually suing Kendrick.
