This is SO fire! At the end of the day, Dot & Mustard created an ANTHEM.
NLU has so much energy and bounce that people from all walks of life can bop to it. It's very, very, very, joyful and addictive...you can see it all over these streamers faces the first time they heard NLU.
THAT's why the song is a monster, not because of UMG or alleged "bots".
End of the day Drake lost fair and square. He dropped Family Matters but the world didn't take to it the way they did NLU.
He really is moving like a degenerate these days.
He made a good point...it's Drake vs battle rap and Drake vs the culture. It's like Drake realizes he's been ostracized FROM that culture, so he wants to burn it down on the way out.....including how rap battles should be governed.
BTW....the "culture" isn't just about sales, pretty sure someone will try that angle. There was a thriving cultural sensibility way before hip-hop went mainstream.

It’s not only a Drake diss but an anthem to knowing yourself, your world, your worth, your culture etc. Kendrick really does hit that power to the people note with his music
