Because it’s soft, harder to prove that Kendrick didn’t reasonably believe what he said, can be rebutted as mudslinging in the same vein as calling Kendrick a wife beater and because Kendrick had no duty to him whereas he is arguing that UMG does and that they engaged in more illegal behaviors.
