To be defamatory you have to PROVE that they knowingly LIED about something they knew for a fact to be a lie. Openly speculating or even asserting an opinion about someone based on their character or questionable behavior is not defamatory.

That Drake could have "expected the Epstein angle" or even told him to talk about the young girls because he heard it on the internet undercuts his own case, as it demonstrates speculation about Drake's questionable activities with youngins is already in the public sphere. It's not out of nowhere or pulled out a thin air, and it's certainly not something Drake or anyone else can prove Kendrick doesn't actually believe.
