Production is pretty good .

:patrice:Some songs had some dope moments and a lot of potential, but overall I found the production disappointing. A lot of the beats are too repetitive/monotonous for my liking. My roots are in Chicago so House is one of my favorite genres.

Really feel like Ye missed an opportunity to do a house/gospel album with Jesus is King :yeshrug:

Respect Drake for stepping out of his comfort zone and trying something different. Was an early fan but haven’t rocked with breh in a minute based on his sub-par music and general lame nikka tendencies these last few years.

As a breh who fukks wit house music heavy I respect the attempt, but it’s lacking in a few areas.

Beats are too repetitive/monotonous. Because production is the centerpiece for house music, there needs to be more texture and depth to the production. Most of the beats on here just seemed liked a simple loop so they got stale quick.

Like other brehs and brehettes have said, Drake’s vocals aren’t strong enough for house music. A lot of his vocal performances were flat/one-note so it left me wanting a lot more.

I would love to see him run it back and attempt a few more house tracks. If he gets A1 production and does something similar to what he did on A Keeper performance-wise, he could make a splash.

The album title fits this perfectly.

I honestly tried to give this a listen but said never mind after skimming over the first 3 songs
Lol, word…. Especially this weekend I was like, aight man let me give this another shot since I’m outside. But once I get a minute or two into these songs I’m like honestly, nevermind.

Sticky Is a good song, the rest is either real bad or mid. A couple of songs could have been pretty good but the singing is just subpar or it’s too heavy with the auto tune And now after a couple of listens of Jimmy Cooks it’s just okay, great compared to the rest of the album but if it was a on a regular Drake album it would be a forgotten album cut

The singing and song writing is horrible. Should of had more songs like sticky, his singing only sounds good on stripped down beats like Down Hill. Pitbull and Flo Rida actually rap there verses and hire singers for the high notes.
