It's not perfect. Unless we know what each individual track on an album streamed. I don't believe that they make that information public. I could be wrong. But buying CDs wasn't a perfect measurement on how much an artist project was being listened too
Streaming is
:pdahell:"I streamed what your whole genre streamed in my first week"
Exactly. How is it played more than any album in recent times? We just recently began counting streaming numbers.
I didn't know thatThese Apple Music numbers included countries all around the world....
It wasn't so much that people hated on him...hip hop had already been watered down by 2000 when he debuted. It was more that he just didn't factor into discussions of who was the best. People cared about rapping back thenI don't remember people other than snobs hating on Nelly during that era
You should be though :pdahell:Cuz he does. But u not even hip. Yall dissing his idols. And phonte got grammies. Im not caping for mc metaphysical
I see you in all the threads plehboiSigh there needs to be a Drake subforum where all you weirdo's can go to gush over his music and pop relevancy.
I fight for hip hop brehI see you in all the threads plehboi
I didn't know that
Even more reason for the asterisk. We're comparing US album "sales" of the past to current international "sale equivalent streams".Yup..they don't break them down by region because well, it's a fukking Apple Music PR piece....the idea is to use Drake's popularity to point out just where everyone is going to consume the 'best rappers' music....
But they are basically in every developed country around the world save a few here and there....
Music - Country Availability
