Diss was so hard, Kendrick just started making up lies instead of responses
Diss was wack. And lol at "started making up lies"...Drake entire track was made of lies that nobody believed. As for Kendrick, as far as we know, there's no evidence that he lied. So let's suppose that he lied like Drake did, are we gonna blame him for making his lies more believable? Is that his fault if he's a better writer?
Also, kendrick dropping at the same time doesn't mean crap, 2 artists dropped at the same time and people decided to listen to the supposed "least popular" rapper the most, because he made much better songs. Kendrick was smart making sure both songs (well, actually a song with a music video a proper promotion, vs only a song) would drop at the same time, that way there would be no bullshyt narrative pushed by Drake, people would decide what the better song was. In this case, the least popular artist did way better in every aspect; numbers, reception, reviews, everything...

. Ya'll better try to come up with a better theory next time.
No such thing as stepping over someone else's release
Kendrick's Like That and Euphoria also nullified most Drake bars on FM with direct references...before the song even dropped. Dude managed to predict every Drake angle and bar, I guess drake's writing is so mid that he was predictable.
