they said it on JBP, but this song smokes damn near anybody else not named kendrick. shyt all them other nikkas he name dropped pretty much got bodied. i still rank meet the grahams (even if the daughter angle is cap) & not like us over this and have it tied with euphoria, but it is definitely a heavy hitter nonetheless and drake's best diss track in his career. kendrick was a SMART mf for stepping on this shyt immediately.
I think that whole middle section should have been at Kendrick.
He was going off but Kendrick got like 2 lines in that whole bit he could have done serious damage on that.
He did his thing on the third part but this a rap battle, he flowing but I don't think it hits as hard when you doing the sing rap thing.

Budden had the right interpretation though. Don’t call out the Big 3 and then come with some 1 v 20 shyt. I like the 3rd part the best strictly because he’s on Kendrick’s ass.
yeah, he had his fair share of missteps in the track which definitely lessened the impact and that was a major one.
