Yeah that's what people said about this song......

And it wasn't true.

They also said it about this song....also not true....

Not saying he is or isn't the main force behind the writing but rather your 'examples' are hallow and prove nothing really. As if you are an unbias 3rd party to all this :snoop:

:laff: :laff:

Predictable tired spins (very tired examples compared to the detail Drake goes in about his family and history. Royce wrote Message about his own experience and it just fit for Dre, The Puff example is basic as hell and its easy to see how some random could've wrote it).

Drake is has literally written hits for others and started off as a ghost writer but dudes hate him so they dedicate to the narrative to discredit him totally as a writer.

TIRED spins

I literally make threads like this to expose how haters can't be objective. It's literally just dedicated hate.
im using literally the same logic u used

dr dre rapped about key parts of his personal life in different songs throughout his career as recent as the "compton" album

so did he write those songs?

looking forward to the mental gymnastics on this one

No gymnastics. Not even comparable

"I wrote the verses, but I didn’t even know about [how Dr. Dre’s brother was killed]. I was rapping about an experience that I had. " Royce

Drake had to have a main input to most of the stuff he writes. Song wasn't even about Dre life :laff:

Drake has the best pen in the game by a long shot.

I love future and the migos but please call me when they have a more diverse subject matter.

Call me when drake talks about anything outside of his inner circle, haters, & relationships. Dudes 30 years old rapping about the exact shyt he did when he got in the game. He might be trying different sounds cuz he's a known wave rider but in all honesty dudes subject matter is very vapid & stale at this point. The deepest he ever gets is the mandatory mom song he puts on every album, and at this point even that's been overdone. He hardly tells any stories (and if he does it's always about himself), doesn't express complex emotions or try to speak out against anything, he just plays it safe and talks about very base, shallow topics so it's super accessible to everyone but very watered down & bland once you do that for 10 years straight. Take away the dope production and dude really ain't saying anything revolutionary or awe inspiring. Just catchy in the moment type stuff

Has Dr Dre got a history of writing for himself and others?
Does Dr Dre have many people who have come out and talked about his worth ethic writing ? ]
Did Dr Dre get his first check writing for Dr Dre ?
Has Dre has people like Kanye thanking him for help write?

Dr Dre doesn't rap about intricate unknown parts of his life in detail like Drake. That would require him to be very involved in the writing process. Unless you're suggesting Dre is heavily involved in his writing process too? :pachaha:

Only an elite writer talking about his life can do this :wow:

"I spoke to your son, the other day, and told him Uncle Dre got him"

and since drake doesn't produce... that means dre has more input than drake does in his records

This dude wants Drake to be a revolutionary, fake deep and stop talking about his actual real life experiences:mjlol:

Of course some people won't have consider him in their top but understand that a lot of people still will.

There isn't some Hip Hop council. It's all individual opinions at the end of the day.

For me Kendrick and Drake are the genre defining post Kanye rappers.
this is true.
but if the culture doesnt accept you you not really accepted. dont care about the bullshyt whites & corporations be trying to push. they dont and shouldnt dictate what is acceptable to hip hops standard. drake is a pop star he cant be the face of rap.

"Main input into his writing"???
That's almost as bad as "mid album cycle side project"

What's tiring is you trying to play an unbias 3rd party when people point out things to you. You didn't make this thread to point anything out to haters, you wanted to reinforce in your own mind that Drake is doing most of the writing. This ghost writing thing REALLY effects you and you know it tarnishes his image or you wouldn't spend countless hours doing making these threads and arguing, ALL THE TIME.

You side stepped the Puffy example for good reason, what you think we were going to let you SLIDE? :pachaha: Here are more examples of people talking about their child hood even though they didn't write the song...

Juice From Chicago helped write this record as part of a writing pool about Will Smith's child hood word to @Art Barr
