They promoted More Life as a "playlist" before it ever dropped. As nonsensical as that may be, it's what they called it

shyt was different with If You're Reading This... though cause that shyt fell out of the sky and after it dropped they seemingly assessed the initial response before deciding what to call it. This was right when the divide between albums and mixtapes was really becoming blurred (and when artists were redefining failed "debut albums" as "retail mixtapes") so it was a strategic move to label If You're Reading This a mixtape since that didn't come with the same expectations

Yea I know what name they promoted it under, but they could also promote it as a blind dog and it would still be an album. He also released two song loosies as EPs. It’s just something he does, this man is trolling people. Next time he’ll call his 30 song albums collection of verses and the songs chapters.

I guess it can’t with album of the year at the Grammys, unless you send it to the them under the album category though

Am I on his dikk in every time he drops an album spamming the same “who wrote this?” For 3-4 years straight.

My definition of unhealthy stanning is when you are an artist dikk and always have the same comments no matter what the underlying topic of conversation is. Such as Nas stans always shytting on Jay, Drake haters always talking about “who wrote this”, Jay stans calling anything he does next level. The only artist I stan that way is Kendrick and that’s cause everything he’s done has been next level, as evidenced by 100s of reviews and consistent classic user reviews across the internet .

Nickelus F's involvement was not limited to RFI and Comeback Season. There shouldn't have been a "process" for Kia to go through.

Im not wrong. I said not a peep about him not writing his own music. As I said multiple times, its clear he has help. The asterisk is many artists have help too.

Personally, I'm not a drake dikkrider. He's put out a lot of mid lately with a few joints here and there. But its funny to see peoples dislike of him turn the story into he doesn't write anything.

Reality is no one knows how much. Something like 6 albums, 4 mixtapes in and we've heard from less than a handful of people about a few songs.

It's hard to have a "peep" when the 2 people speculated to have written for Drake were a rapper who never got past mixtape status and a 1 hit wonder, which led to people dismissing it as hating on the star. What the QM situation did was turn people's head back towards that as well as the help he got on Take Care and all the credit Hush got on that and NWTS.

I think you're taking the "he writes nothing" comments from others too literal or unique to Drake. If a person truly thinks he writes 0 of his material, yes they're just hating, but that would be said about just about any artist who we know has had writers, especially ones proclaiming to be a heavyweight MC and ATG. "He doesn't write his shyt" is a blanket term for "he doesn't write enough for me to take him serious".
