On first listen this album has no real highs apart from YOLT to me.

I think it was apparent it would be this way as this is the first time he dropped with no huge lead single on an official album.
Laugh Now Cry Later would have been one of the best songs on this album. Which is crazy cause I thought that was just a decent track when it first dropped.

It has less highs and lows than Scorpion, not many terrible songs but also not a lot of songs that grab your attention.

Even most of the rapping ass song just felt like you heard that from Drake before. That could be to do with the samey production it already felt like tracks you heard from him before.

Overall it's cool. He just seems on autopilot as of now.

I think being unremarkable and average is worst than being out right bad tbh

Yeah... This ain't for me. I was listening to Get Along Better this morning and was actually paying attention to it.

Midway through the song I started thinking "This is some young adult shyt".

If you're in your 30s and can relate to that kinda shyt, you need to seek therapy. That song and most of this album shows that there is no growth in this dude mentally and possibly emotionally, which I think effects him artistically.

This was light. Too bloated. I liked maybe 5 songs. 7am, YOLT, The Remorse were good. Nothing felt new or unique. If you told me this dropped years ago I couldn’t tell the difference. Feels too safe and the production was kind of boring. It was cool but it doesn’t feel like an album from the “best” rapper out

I'd argue....he's just catering to his audience
And society in general

A lot of ppl have a young mentality for longer longer now
