There are some great songs on here, some nice introspective lines and lessons learned, but overall he keeps making the same album. It sounds too similar sonically, the girl songs are too similar to things he's already said and done.
I liked that he took his distrustful persona to the next level based on his personal life, but what more does he really have to say at this point?
I feel like he had a lot of life developments happen and still really kinda made the same kinda shyt. With the title and rollout I was expecting something a bit more concise or refined. Or different.
The concept overall is cool and some of the songs really fit in with it but there's some real filler on here.
In never on the "cut songs make it more concise" wave. I think more music is always better. But I am about to rethink my position for this shyt because it's clear he's doing this shyt for the streaming #s and also, it's really similar. I get his whole sound is night time drive music but out of one of the biggest musical stars in a generation, I expect evolution of some sort. That's my biggest knock against him. There are some great and sharp bars but overall as an album 6.5 out of 10
