Ok does this actually pick up in pace at any point? I put it down at track 10 and nikka still spitting/Mostly singing in cruise control.

Apart from like the track with Future and Thug and I think (track 2)? It all just seems very one paced and monotone

Very ehhhh. Seems like Drake on full autopilot. Better than Scorpion but that is a very low bar. You've heard all the verses before from him and the production is not as crazy as before. Some dope songs but feels like a watered down version of NWTS

Drake really has shown zero growth as an artist, it’s remarkable really

He hasn't had to. He has a huge fan base that allows him to drop almost anything mediocre and they will still show out for him so then its tough to grow when the sales and fans are still there

Wasn’t wack but the bars been set too high this year and this sounds kinda lazy compared to Nas, Ye, Mach, Boldy, Tyler, etc.

So off first listen...I'm a HUGE Drake stan but this shyt kinda mid? It's not that any of the tracks are particularly bad. But besides like 2 or 3 none are particular stand outs either. Feels like he's been recycling this sound for a minute and while I know it's his "thing" and what got him to this point, I think he needs to be more bold and experiment moving forward. Dude plays it too safe, and I guess he can get away with that because his shyt is gonna sell like hotcakes either way.

Still need to give it the car test though.
