Basically the promoter was saying Drake was difficult to do business with and was making too many demands, so they went with Travis Scott instead.

This isn’t in the article, but Drake also canceled his Lollapalooza show in Brasil last year on the day of the show. I’m not sure if it’s the same promoter, but that probably played a part in the decision too.
