Claytose and Gerald

Saw a Geralt clone in the rift name B34st0fR1v1a or some shyt like that. Right next to him was a Daenerys clone

on a side note, I noticed all the Street Fighter character names are available for 'monikers'

I saw M. Bison and :dead: Easter eggs a week before Easter.

Honestly I'm not hearing anything to justify this game is actually bad, especially for console. :patrice:Nobody knew about microtransactions until somebody said something. There's a couple minor inconveniences like not being about to start a new game

I'm wondering about the gameplay.

god damn the discourse surrounding this game is more annoying than i thought it would be and not for the reasons i thought it would be.
ACG mentioned it and I had to realize it myself, there's just a ton of players who didn't touch DD1 who are trying this for the first time. Literally everything that people are review bombing about was in the first game as well.

Every Capcom game has shytty dumb microtransactions that you can avoid. I guess fast travel is a big deal to people but this franchise has always discouraged that

A lot of reviewers today are admitting that they knew about the micro transactions when review codes went out but they didn't mention them because they never became an issue, I guess the steam/console pages have mentioned the micro transactions this whole time but people ignored it.

Yea it’s definitely first timers making up a majority of the complaints

It seems just like last game where you’re gonna rely on port crystals to get around….and by your 2nd playthough you easily had 10 to move around pretty easily in DD1 so I’ll assume it’s the same here
Otherwise the DLC is just like dmc5 where it’s there but not necessary

Everything seems to be bought on RC points again and once again if it’s like the last game you’ll be swimming on those in the 2nd and 3rd play through so im not worried at all

Performance is definitely ass on consoles :francis:

Starting to feel it more with combat picking up, haven’t even got to the first town yet

The microtransactions are a non issue, imo. I'm wondering how the gameplay is.

To all Dragon's Dogma 2 players

We would like to update you on the status of the following items, about which we have received numerous comments from the community. To all those looking forward to this game, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

■Crashes and bug fixes
We are investigating/fixing critical problems such as crashes and freezing.
We will be addressing crashes and bug fixes starting from those with the highest priority in patches in the near future.

■The option of starting a new game
We are looking at adding a feature to the Steam version of the game that will allow players that are already playing to restart the game. We will announce more details as soon as we can.

■Paid DLC
All the items listed below can be obtained in-game or as paid DLC items.
Art of Metamorphosis - Character Editor
Ambivalent Rift Incense - Change Pawn Inclinations
Portcrystal - Warp Location Marker
Wakestone - Restore the dead to life!
500 Rift Crystals / 1500 Rift Crystals / 2500 Rift Crystals - Points to Spend Beyond the Rift
Makeshift Gaol Key - Escape from gaol!
Harpysnare Smoke Beacons - Harpy Lure Item

■Regarding Frame Rate
A large amount of CPU usage is allocated to each character and calculating the impact of their physical presence in various areas. In certain situations where numerous characters appear simultaneously, the CPU usage can be very high and may affect the frame rate. We are aware that in such situations, settings that reduce GPU load may currently have a limited effect; however, we are looking into ways to improve performance in the future.
