They didn’t really play it. Blessing, Mike, and Greg have like a combined 9 hours in the game so far. Its clear They just needed a video out for embargo
I’d take their opinions on it with a grain of salt. I played unicorn overlord demo twice as long as each of them have played this lol

Listening to this shyt at work and the stuff they're complaining about is just the mechanics inherent to Dragons Dogma, sounds like they didn't play the OG

Yeah, i doubt they did but most people haven’t it wasn’t a major game. It sold like 7 million copies over the course of two console generations. Like i said from that Fextralife video a lot of people aren’t going to vibe with it, especially not at the beginning. It’s not skyrim.

Took me a whole moth to finally play and beat Baldur's Gate 3, been reading about DD2 and I'm likenever played the first one.
Gonna cop this one. Any "don't fukk this up before you start" advice brehs? I already read about the 1 save file and how character and pawn creation are basically the difficulty settings. So, what do I have to avoid to not make this a miserable experience?@hex @Gizmo_Duck @Animal House

I'm so glad there are frame rate issues so I don't feel bad not copping this for a while. I'm only about 15 hours into Rebirth and Ronin dropping in a couple days on top of March Madness

Again a lot of people aren’t gonna like this, it’s not a straight forward game like when it comes to mechanics a lot are hidden
It’s not a fast action game, it’s a bit more methodical

The people who know what the fukk they talmbout when it comes to RPGs and action games gave it a good score, that's all I needed to hear. Once I got the green light from ACG, fightincowboy and falcon from gameranx thats all the confirmation I needed even tho I knew this would be a smash.

Oh yeah definitely, I'm just biased because I played the first heavily. I hear nikkas talk bad about it less than 10 hours in and I know they haven't really experienced the game yet, because the first was the same structure. It sounds like the Kinda Funny reviewers barely leveled up their starting vocation for example, and there are movement and combat mechanics that can completely change the game as you level and jump between vocations.
