DragonBall Z made me want to get in the greatest shape possible as a kid. Goku was so influential.

Vegeta my motivation.

watch dbz Kai. Apparently it cut down the filler.

I personally like the filler for nostalgia purposes but I get it.

So it's the same series just less episodes?

This is the problem with shows in the west. We have powered characters but their powers are the result of an accident or they're born with them.

Batman, Ironman and black panther are probably the only popular western heroes who have had to train and invent to give themselves equal footing with living gods and shyt.

In anime you see characters lose. You see them get their ass beat and then have to get strong and clap back. That's what happens in real life and we see it in sports all the time. An athlete gets washed, goes away for a while and then comes back ready to fight and win. Training arcs are extremely important and need to be in more western shows.

Too many American dads have envy towards their sons and hate on them. Especially cac fathers:scust:

Your sons achievements SHOULD surpass yours. Thats the point of being a parent, to raise a child who will not make the mistakes you made because they benefit from your guidance and experience. Your role as an OG is to mentor the next generation so they can succeed where you failed.

I agree with the writer, a lot of comics have fascist undertones to them. We don't have enough heroes who come from nothing and the ones that we do are immensely popular. Kids go crazy for Spiderman partially because he uses his limited powers in a very creative way. He's only really got his spider sense, sticking power and strength which is the equivalent to a spiders strength relative to its size. Yet somehow this nikka finds himself holding his own while teaming up with the avengers who have a thunder God and brolic radiation monster with limitless strength and he was even part of the fantastic four who had to fight demons and space gods. Spiderman takes Ls but then learns from them to turn the tables around on his opponents. Miles morales and Peter Parker are inspirational figures to people, because they make up for what they weren't given by birth or accident.

vegeta ate, slept, and breathed training :sas1:

but we gon ignore that for gok00n huh :mjpls::sas2:
Goku stated that Vegeta trains harder than him and Vegeta is stated as recognizing that even if he trains harder, Goku has more natural talent.
Lets not forget (like most people try to) that MUCH of Goku's ability was gained when he was dead and allowed to keep his body. In Otherworld, he doesnt have to eat or sleep or get harmed.
You can train more intensely. Thats a benefit thats not afforded to Vegeta. Thats why SSJ3 didnt work in the real world. It consumes more energy that a living body can produce to function correctly. Thats more respect on Vegeta. :smugfavre:

Watching Goku train on his way to Namek inspired me too:banderas:
Every episode this nikka was training, pushing his limits :wow:

Could barely move with augmented gravity at the beginning, was stuck on the floor :wow:

Episode by episode you see him get better at it, off of pure dedication and consistency :wow:

Whooped everybody once he stepped foot on Namek :wow:

Inspirational asf :wow:
