Its crazy, SSJ2 Gohan would be obliterated in about 5 seconds in this current arc.
Sad part is if Gohan kept training, Fat Buu would've ended upGohan SSJ2 would NOT be able to fight Fat Buu, much less Goku Black
Hell, he would gotten bodied by base for Vegeta at this point
Gohan aint got the juice no more, he out doing something his father couldn't do, be a family man
Goku broke that boy
Sad part is if Gohan kept training, Fat Buu would've ended up
He might have, but Majin Vegeta was wayyyy stronger than him, and gotten
Only a SSJ3 could have killed fat Buu at that point. Gohan wouldn't have known even with training cause that was another worldly power up.
But post-Beerus Era (DBS), a SSJ2 without Whis level training, is useless. Even Mystic Gohan is at this point.
but he didn't and he's not a goat anything but a let downGohan didn't train in the 7 years. He would be goat if he trained between the time he beat cell and the time the Buu Saga started.

He might have reached somewhere like SSJ 2.5, but he wouldn't reach SSJ3 because he didn't know such a level existed.
It's true, other worldly power was needed to Buu.
Goku didn't know there was a ssj3 but he was able to obtain and achieve that transformation so your logic is flawed.
Gohan didn't. His SSJ2 would be stronger if he kept training, but that's about it. SSJ3, initially, was only learned from otherworld. Gohan and Vegeta had no clue about it.
