I’m going go on a limb here and say that Goku actually kills Moro. If you look at Goku’s body language, it doesn’t seem he’s worried in the slightest. More like he expected this. He showed Moro mercy but Moro took his kindness for a weakness. Now Goku has a license to destroy him. Of course I’m projecting a lot here based on the information but I think that would be an interesting twist if that were the case.
