This dude did an insane job with the fan animation of the upcoming broly movie. I actually watched through the entire video

Eh, like 99% of Mastar's shyt is traced. 5 minutes in and there's not a single frame that i don't recognize from Dragon Ball or some other show.

Dude goes to asinine lengths to justify that shyt too, and it's even worse because he actually monetizes his stuff.

"I want to make a career out of animating but it's too difficult and time consuming to do it alone so I have to trace!" Well then go to animation school or do something else nikka, instead of jackin other people's work.

So what? Anybody with a tablet and functioning hands can do what he does. There's plenty of people with the same resources actually making original shyt, just at a slower output because they're not taking shortcuts. He's a joke to anybody who actually takes their craft seriously.

Imagine a dude wanted to become an author, but because he didn't have enough time to write a novel himself he just copy and pasted another novel and changed the names, then sold it on Amazon. He'd sound like a hack, right? This is the same shyt.

If you're not capable of producing work yourself then you need to either find a different career or start from square one.

You're complaining about him tracing pre-existing frames from dragonball to make fanmade dragonball animation

If he was tracing shyt while trying to make original content you would have a point, but all of this is fanmade animation for a property he doesn't own

How's it a false equivalence? Let's slightly modify the scenario then: what if I wanted to be an author, but I didn't have time to write a story, so I just copy and pasted some shyt from Harry Potter and sold it on Amazon as a Harry Potter book by myself? Copyright infringement AND plagiarism.

He's making money off of shyt that he neither owns the rights for and is plagiarizing. Simple as that.

It doesn't matter if it's based off the series that he's copying from. He's still tracing. shyt even his "original" fan animations are traced from Dragon Ball, Naruto, etc.

Like I said, he's monetizing this shyt and trying to make a career off of it. He's already violating.

Acting like it's impossible to make fan-animation without tracing and shyt . There's another dude on Twitter doing original fan animations for this that look great. It's obviously taking a while since he's not resorting to short cuts like Mastar, but it's actually worthy of respect.

The manga has always been a joke because outside of Goku and Vegeta Toyataro don't give a shyt.

Plus Toyo's a Vegeta stan so he was doing straight up illogical shyt to prop Vegeta up and make Goku look worse.
